Help for 9/11 Responders and Families
If you worked at Ground Zero, or you’re the family of someone who did, we may be able to help. Here’s who qualifies and what to do.
Who this is for
You may be eligible if you worked or volunteered at the World Trade Center site, or anywhere south of Canal Street in Manhattan, between September 11, 2001 and May 30, 2002.
We also help immediate family members of responders, including families of responders who have died.
Every request is looked at individually.
What kind of help is available
Depending on what you need, help may include:
- Money toward food, clothing, utility bills, or other basic needs
- Gift cards
- A box of food
- A box of clothing
We decide case by case: Crystal, Sean, and Debra.
What to do
Fill out our First Responder Form. It asks for your contact information, what you did at the World Trade Center site, and some basic information about your health and insurance. We need that to know how to help. Everything on the form is kept confidential.
