Date: July 26, 2012 (6:30 P.M. – 10:30 P.M.)

Description: On July 26, 2012, two members of Ski’s Open Heart Foundation attended the Feal Good Foundation’s Gala at the Watermill in Smithtown, NY. After a brief cocktail hour and dinner, presentations were performed and donations were given out. Ski’s Open Heart Foundation was the recipient of one of the FGF donations. Flowers were presented to some of the widows of people who lost their lives on 9/11 and others who lost their lives due to 9/11 related illnesses.

Date: June 11, 2012 (7 P.M. – 11 P.M.)

Description: On the birthday of the foundation’s inspiration, Ski’s Open Heart was officially launched. The launch party was held at Irish Times in Holbrook, New York. Our website, face book, and Twitter pages were all released to the public. At the Foundation’s launch party, a Chinese auction was held, a DJ entertained the crowd, we BBQ’d on the outside patio, and there was a special performance of our national anthem. There were over 155 people that came out to show their support and enjoyed the event.

Date: March 7, 2012 (5 P.M. – 10 P.M.)

When the tornadoes hit down South in March 2012, Ski’s Open Heart Foundation was there to help. They held an event at the South Country Ambulance Parking lot in East Patchogue, NY. Donations included bottle water, blankets, snacks, adult and children’s clothes, diapers and wipes, baby food/formula, juice (individual), packaged food, packages of new underwear, socks, tarps, generators, gift cards, and money donations were collected and sent down South. Volunteers were there to help pack the boxes and load on to the truck.
