Hurricane Isaac Support

As you all know Hurricane Isaac came ashore in Louisiana the night of August 28-29, with winds up to 80 mph. The heavy rain and storm surges flooded a large majority of the coastal southeast Louisiana and Mississippi and has wrecked havoc to many of our fellow American’s homes. During the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Mark Gajewski loaded up his truck with water, clothing, and food to bring down to the hurrican victims. In doing so, he asked many of his friends to donate the food, water, and clothing needed to support the families. In response to last week’s hurricane, Ski’s Open Heart Foundation plans to do the same. As such, we are working with the USVMC to send a container down to the victims.

If you would like to donate, please drop off any supplies (water, clothing, food, and toiletries) to 262 Martha Ave., East Patchogue, New York 11772 before Friday, September 7, 2012.  Please spread the word and if you have any questions please email or call the Foundation. This is not for people across the planet; this is for your fellow Americans, so please help.

Checks donations will also be appreciated as any money collected will be used to purchase supplies. Checks should be made out to “Ski’s Open Heart Foundation” or “USVMCLI” and can be mailed to either of the above organization’s PO Boxes. (If you send a check, please add “Hurricane Isaac Victims” to memo line.)

Donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your help

UPDATE : We will be holding collections tonight, Friday September 7, 2012 from 7PM to 9PM at South Country Ambulance, located at Montauk Hwy & Dunton Ave, East Patchogue
