Fall Planting at 9/11 Remembered Park
By Crystal Gajewski on in News Coverage
On Saturday October 19th at 10am the Boy Scouts troop 888 from Nesconset headed by John Boome Scout master, the board members of the 9/11 Remembered Park and Ski’s Open Heart Foundation completed a fall clean up and planting at the park.
We received a few donations from local nurseries and Lowes donated 100 bulbs and plants. We replaced a fallen tree lost during Sandy, this tree was donated by Sam’s B.C. Nurseries.
Thank you to everyone who came and joined us with the planting. We will see you in the spring for the spring planting.
