Spartan Race at Citi Field on April 13,2013 Fundraiser
By on
The month of January has been a horrible month for the 9/11 Community. The month isn’t even over and the community has lost 9 true American hero’s from 9/11 related cancers. Nine deaths that could have been prevented; nine deaths that should have never happened; nine amazing individuals that have been taken from their families and friends to soon. It is sad how fast this country has forgotten about some of the most courageous people. RIP; you are now another one of our angels.
That being said volunteers of Ski’s Open Heart Foundation will be running in the Spartan Race at Citi Field on April 13, 2013, and have decided to raise money for these families that were left behind. Our goal is $5,000.00 so that we can split that among the nine first responders that didn’t hesitate to risk their lives in 2001. If you haven’t forgotten about these and the many others who are still fighting, will fight, or fought and lost their battle, then open up your heart and help us reach our goal.
